Altrincham FC welcome goalkeeper Jamie Greygoose (d.o.b. 27 March 1993) to Moss Lane. Jamie's father, Dean, was a loan keeper at Altrincham from Northwich Victoria in 1999-2000 season. Now 47, Dean recently left Kettering Town where he was assistant manager. Jamie has most recently been with Cambridgeshire side Ely City and has played for their first team throughout September 2012. Ely City play in the Eastern Counties Premier, (Step 5, the same as the NW Counties Premier). Jamie is expected to be in Alty's squad on Saturday for the FA Cup match at Leek Town.
Weird, I only looked up Dean Greygoose this week!

Ely Ely City
Ely Ely City
managed at one time by the superbly named Dennis Lightning.
I know an Ely fan - I'll see what they make of him.

'Hello, I'm Dean Greygoose'. TV Star and top quality GK. Hope it's like father like son.
-
I suppose we'll get a gander at him in the CSC.........................

Ely Si tells me that Jamie is a good shot stopper but lacks presence as he's on the small side. However he could well be a name for the future as he's still a growing lad.
==========
Hope things work out for you at Moss Lane Jamie.

York Alty I think we've already got one for the future in ADAM REID. He's already got the presence in physique despite being 15 months younger than Jamie Greygoose. Adam has gone on loan to get competitive matches under his belt, which he will seeing Goole Town are 2nd to bottom.

true George.
I'm merely passing on the opinon of a bloke who has seen him play and whose opinion I respect on our new signing.
