Southport, Torquay and Boreham Wood all winning.

We need to start picking up points, hopefully starting on Monday.

About 2mm from the floor of the glass!

We are now the league's lowest goalscorers BTW, after Welling's 94th minute consolation goal! Shocking set of results today.

Indeed, what a miserable Boxing Day afternoon.

Aside from dear old Welling, we've seen a woeful set of results from our point of view, allied to all that lost revenue as a result of the postponement of our fixture agsinst Chester.

Just to be clear though, this is not a dig at anyone for postponing the game.  We called it several days ago, so no surprises.

This is more about ensuring our next results go the right way, as we are now being sucked into a relegation battle.

Well, we couldn't play so I went to Edgeley Park. The goalmouths were a beach but the rest of the field was pretty good.

There was a lot of head tennis, Harrogate were the better side although Stockport wasted a chance to equalise from the penalty spot. Both teams are chasing a playoff spot but neither seemed as good as Alty to me although Harrogate have a right winger with a good turn of speed.

The Halifax fans turned up at 3.25 because of the hole in the M62 and then spent the rest of the game out singing the 3200 hatters.

The true spirit of non-league football from the Halifax fans there. Forfeiting their own game to sing for Harrogate, fair play...
