Will be good to give some of the fringe players a run out in this. They must be bored of warming the bench each week.

Is this the way to Mickleover
I'd rather go there than Dover

A chance for the fringe players and youth lads to get some game time against what should be decent opposition.

Shame. The odds will be sh*t.

I've made a bit of money betting on Congleton and Northwich to beat us at 4/1 and 2/1 knowing full well it was our youth team playing.

If we can get a decent Trophy run as well the last thing we need is to risk more injuries in the CSC, I really don't think many of us will be heartbroken if a 2nd string XI get beaten in this game.

wasn't our youth team at Northwich (they would have won), it was the reserve team

what fringe players?

Joel Swift, Sam Heathcote, Callum Williams, Ioannis Stouppis, Rhain Davis and any players who might be returning from injury to get them some game time. Although Sam Heathcote has started a couple of times, I think he should be starting a game like this as he is not a regular starter just yet and needs plenty of experience. The other younger players, although primarily youth players are on the fringes of the first team in that they have been named as first team subs on a number of occasions.
