It would be very typical for us to lose a big gate due to bad weather as we've seen in the past few years, fingers crossed it warms up for Saturday

I dont think you can put them on this early as it would kill the grass underneath could be wrong though.

I believe they only work to protect at -2-3 degrees as it was -5 last night i don't think they would have helped.
I may be wrong though plus it takes 4-5 people to put them on

I saw them on Salford's new rugby ground on Monday morning whilst going over the M60 bridge.
