At one point the fan (ref) in question was forcibly escorted off the pitch by a steward at Sinclair's insistence. He wasnt pissed at all and could easily have done the last few mins on the line.

According the that BBC report, the referee was forced off with an injured calf.

Must have been a sliding tackle from Sinclair.

The fair thing to do is play out the remaining time at no expense to Alty (or our fans).

I found this somewhat derogatory about a decent man: "One of their staff said he would see the rest of the game out with no qualifications. It's human nature that if there was a big decision to make, we wouldn't have got it."

Calling the integrity of such an experienced and able man as Ian Senior I find a bit insulting to say the least!

It was actually Neil Tolson, but the comment holds true.
