FA Cup live matches

Not that it concerns us, unfortunately, but the choices of live games seem unfair again!! Chelsea and Man Utd get home live games at the expense of the likes of Eastleigh. Their game v Bolton has got "shock" written all over it. Thoughts?

For me, it will be more of a shock if Bolton get a result. It certainly should have been televised, but I like their Chairman's positivity in looking forward to being on the box in round 4.

These TV companies don't pay millions for the rights to be fair to all teams though i'm afraid.

Once you hit the third round its all about viewing figures (and in BT Sports case) the ad revenue they can recoup. Think i read this is the 48th consecutive FA Cup game where United have been shown live, and i'm sure they'll have been some dull home fixtures along the way but its all business.

If they wont show Eastleigh I pm pretty sure we wouldnt have got a live game either had we be beaten Colchester and faced Charlton.

United get the ratings, and therefore the advertisers and subscribers are kept happy. They will probably be live in the next round too regardless of opponent.

At least United being on will show how fkn boring that the tosser van Gall has made them.

The premier teams will always get air time regardless of who they play.  Money goes to money
