Understand that Terry Sherringham was sacked yesterday at Stevenage and Southport's Dino Maamria is favourite at the bookies to take his place as he lives thee and is mates with the Stevenage Chairman, as is Charlie Clapham, Chair of Southport.

Could this affect the recent good form at Southport and therefore improve our league position if Dino does go?

I thought he may be linked there too.

It would put a halt to the great form they've showed obviously but having got themselves up to 38 points at this stage they should be selector coast over.

Stranger things have happened of course but if we were to overhaul Southport I think we'd be a way from the bottom four regardless.

Former Southport "striker" Richard Brodie has also rocked up at Edgeley Park http://www.stockportcounty.com/news/article/jim-adds-brodie-to-the-squad-2926179.aspx

Hoping he doesn't come our way at any point

Looking a bit out of condition.  Be interesting to see how he gets on.

Put County ahead at Harrogate tonight, but they eventually lost 2-1 and dropped down to 12th.

Bromley sack Goldberg

"The club has new investors who have higher expectations than current performances on the pitch are showing."

Yawn.
