Following Saturday's winnable visit to Welling, we have 4 home games in the following fortnight :

Wrexham, Lincoln, Chester, Guiseley

At our best, we are capable of at least a 5 game unbeaten run. None of the sides we play are in decent form at the moment, and arguably the hardest task is against Wrexham whose star player has gone to Scunny.

I can't make the trip to Kent,  but after that I want to hear us right behind the lads as we try to pull clear of the drop zone.

I think this 'break' can only have been good for us - we were absolutely down to the bare bones and on our arses.

With Welling having played midweek - and on p*ss poor form no less - we should be looking for the most positive result on Saturday.

Let's get behind them.

These five games will decide whether we finish safely around 15th/16th or are in a real battle to finish 20th for me.

Will we get these 4 home games on? Some heavy rain forecast in bursts over the next 3-4 days and nights so not sure our pitch will be drying out..

Take it one game at a time - I wouldn't like to guarantee that we'll play Tuesday, leave alone the following Sat/Tue/Sat. Vital that we at the very least keep our distance from Welling Saturday - though that shouldn't mean playing for a draw, as we're far more likely to get a positive result by actually trying to win. Landslips in Leighton Buzzard & rail connections permitting I'll be there!
