I have no doubt the board will make the right choice.  They will have had long discussions with the successful applicant, listened to his plans etc and been impressed.

My worry is that in true Alty style, unless the guy is a household name who has won the Conference North twice, he might get written off before he has even sat down in the office.

The club have done well at keeping names under their hat so I don't base this on anything at all but I think the manager will be someone who doesn't have the most impressive trophy winning cv at this stage but has the right attitude, ideas and contacts to change that.
