Histon game is off
« on: December 17, 2010, 02:05:52 PM »

After a pitch inspection today at 1345 by a premiership referee the game is postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Official confirmation on club website later today.

Enjoy your shopping  :) :)

That decision comes as no surprise but thanks for posting Darren..

Its been fkn freezing in Shropshire over the last few weeks
I am convinced that apart from the frozen Tundra of Scotland I live in one of the coldest places in the UK.  :(

Cashflow must be a real worry for the club now...when was the last home game?

Luton in the league on 13 Nov or Hyde on 16 Nov in the CSC

Thankfully they have the 5k from the FAT victory to help with the finance.

At least the £5k from beating Curzon Ashton should help bridge the gap a little bit.

It can be a real killer at this time of the year with little or no money coming into the club.  :(

Pitch looked fine last night as well at Man U v Geordie reserves. I was looking forward to a Sat match.

Ah, but just how quickly do the FA pay out that prize money though?

Probably quicker than Northwich pay out gate receipts from cup games.

Is this the way to Mickleover
I'd rather go there than Dover

""It’s clear the club will never stand up on its own without the directors putting money in," he said."

Unless of course you cut costs, become part time and get some younger cheaper players in.

God forbid...
