Its Barrow away on a Tuesday.

Its Barrow with a 1900+ crowd

Its new Barrow with three times a week training

Its Barrow full of confidence from Saturday

Its bloody brilliant.

To quote the commentators "a good crowd have come out to see Barrow wiped away by the visitors"

I'm on the way back from Barrow on a very happy coach! I thought we could get a point tonight but never thought we'd hammer them three nil! Three quality strikes and some top notch goalkeeping from Coburn when we were under the cosh in the second half at one nil.

By my reckoning, that's our first victory at Barrow since Tuesday, 24th October 2000, when Mark Ward's team won 3-2 at Holker Street with goals from Dickie Landon and Alex Hay (2).

Great result.
Seems like the new signings are fitting in well. From the subs at 1-0 it seems like the management attitude is to go for it rather than just try to defend the lead. Might lose us a fe points but it should be worth watching.

Brilliant start to the season.

Had to double check the result this morning to make sure I did witness an alty 3-0 win away in barrovia. Great performance from everyone, found it hard to single anyone out as MOM. All 3 goals were class, I'd say seniors was best tho.

Seniors goal was described on bbc teletext as a close range finish! I agree it was probably the pick of the three!

The way he cut inside his man was just pure class.
Also a mention for the heff who had a rele good game considering the step up he's made this year, bit shakey at times but overall had a good game.

Got back from Mexico 0800am on the 12th. Went straight to arrivals hall WH Smith, and embarrassed myself with a victory shout on reading our result.

Heres to the rest of the season, catch you all next home game.
