Chris Senior 5' 8"? In his high heels maybe!!  :D

Having seen them both engaged in conversation in the Noel White Suite after the Ebbsfleet match, I can confirm that Chris Senior is actually the same height as Foz.

Mind you, Foz was wearing his stilettos....

DAle has been having "an absolute stormer" according to the commentators.  He's run the ball most of the length of the pitch and brought down on the edge of the box - at this stage of the second game in the week that is fantastic effort.

One of those great nights, rarely experienced over the last few years, Dagenham comes to mind. Great result and what a tremendous kick start to a new season in what most thought would be a tricky away tie.

LOL. Even worse from over the sea, I'd probably end up spending the night in Barrow.....errr, on second thoughts.....

I'm just gettin all nostalgic for the days when I used to make nearly every game. Hayes would have been a must for me to fly in for, but too much goin on over here at the moment. I'm gonna have to wait for the second half of the season me thinks.

At least I can get to Hayes - looking forward to it now, although Stevenage only got a point there tonight

Fooking unreal result, the clean sheet being the biggest positive.

I thought the whole point of having strikers was to score goals, excuse me if  im wrong ! The team shouldnt have to rely on the midfield to score goals and neither should the fans as for Kierney and Crowell scoring a goal apiece its a bit harsh to say they scored more in one match than Lawton or Danylyk did all season when in fact Danylyk has played more of  a defending midfield position most of last season, so forgive me if im wrong but i think you are being rather harsh on them as im sure others will agree Danylyk and lawton have been been a good influence last season as im sure they will this when lawton is fit.

lawton is the perfect replacement for any of the 3 central midfield we currently have,

Heffernen is the ginger zidane and is the future ;D

First people say the midfield dont contribute enough then they say its the strikers job to score. They cant win.

For what its worth, i was thinking about it last night after i heard the result. Chris senior has scored 2 in 2 and 2 midfielders have scored in 2 games. If Senior is becoming more prolific and the midfield are contributing a decent number of goals then surely we're onto a winner.  :)
