Would you really want to put up with 90 minutes of Steve Evans ranting with his puppet Raynor?

Yes,most definately, we've been bullied at times this season, what ever peoples thoughts are on Evans, he's a win at all costs type of guy.Id much sooner see a war against his Rotherham side and I think it would do us far more good than strolling to a 5-0 win at abbey hey

Morecambe (away) - Redshaw and McKenna link, plus we haven't been to their new ground

MUFC XI (home) - obviously?

Connah's Quay (away) - Marc McGreggor manager.

six in total: 3 home, 3 away.

And talking of nonleague baddies, preston could be lucrative if we can get Westley on the phone, he knows moss lane is a decent set up

I don't like the united friendlies, they are only worth while if they bring a star or two, it's always arranged for when united are in hong kong and there's whispers Ralph Milne or billy garton might play as they are recovering from injury and you end up with 11 youth teamers your never heard of and are scared to tackle

We could all stay at the Eden Court Hotel and play bar billiards in the games room or what the soaps in the TV room.

Doncaster Rovers at home, just so we can see how many crosses Dean Saunders' team can get in during the 90 minutes.

Some obscure foreign XI.
Hasn't Niall Flynn got strong connections in Liechtenstein...?

Otherwise, how about an away fixture at North Ferriby United, so that our manager wouldn't have far to travel?

No thank you very much, I still have nightmares about our Trophy exit there in 2001 (?) under the shadow of the Humber bridge.

How about Wexford Youths away (not at all for selfish reasons, no sireeee)?
