Whilst I am VERY happy to see Nicky sign on for another year, am I the only person concerned that we haven't got anybody really 'tied' to the club for a good couple of years? If we had players who we have tried and tested, then why not sign them for longer so, if a bigger club really wants them, we can make some money out of it?

Why would these players sign them though?  Its not in their interest to do so.

Players will always want to keep their options open...
