Duncan to Liverpool?
« on: May 30, 2015, 02:05:37 PM »

I have heard a rumour that Liverpool might put in for Watmore. If true it would be an excellent and right move. Closer to the family, a team who need to freshen things up and a better team than Sunderland......just haha! I also think Brendan gives English youngsters a chance!

His displays inToulon can only be doing him a world of good.Wonder if we would get a cut of the transfer  fee should he move to another premier league club.

I'd be disappointed if we didn't have a clause like that in place.

I don't think that there would be a big transfer fee for a player that is not established in a first team.
I understood that we started putting sell-on clauses in every sale since the early 1970's.

Did we actually sell him? I thought he went out of contract but we get a 'compensation' as he was under 23 or whatever the rule is? Would we still get the option to add a sell on in his new contract?

Either way I am made up for him, we can expect to see him gracing the premiership next season whatever happens thanks to Dutch Dick.

Undisclosed fee but I would be surprised if it was less than 100K
