They are the most frustrating bunch of f**kwits imaginable, will not be happy until we are back part time and in the NPL beating the likes of Colwyn Bay comfortably.

It's odd actually, some of them seemed quite chipper about the upcoming season after winning at our place. Seemingly oblivious to this not being the greatest Alty team of the past 20 years. I though you looked a bit ordinary but the kid up front was decent and you would struggle.

Perfectly possible you'll stay up as there's a few teams in L2 on significany downward curves (Hereford, Cheltenham, Barnet, Southend, Northampton, Stockport etc). However there are worse scenarios in the world for all concerned (well perhaps County) than for Alty, Macc and Stockport to be playing each other in the BSP next season.

As I've said before, this might be the season we have to push the boat out a touch and recoup it later.

i can wish it on macc but wouldnt want stockport to come down. i can remember in 1991 talking to the stockport chairman at the time Brendan Elwood??? and predicting we would go up and they would come down . oh how that came back to haunt me the next time i met him and we didnt make it and they got promoted and went onwards and upwards from there .
Out of those on the list i think its cheltenham for me they have been punching above there wait for years. But then thats getting two non league teams back and i like it when we have the fancy dans who thin k it is beneath them to be non league. so perhaps Northampton
