Totally meaningless in all probability. That club is more slippery than an eel in a bucket of grease.

Furloughing has saved them

The points deduction is for paying the players late in February. They were also paid late in March

If there was any justice, they'd carry the deduction into next season. They'll be dancing in the streets of Bolton too I expect.

That is my preferred solution. start next season with points earned in this unfinished one.

I think they'll start next season in league 2, doubt they'll finish though, regardless of being saved here financially they appear doomed
-
Does anyone know if this latest potential points deduction would put them bottom on ppg ?
-
Yes it would, could be a convenient move on behalf of the FL to solve their relegation concerns

As if the chairman's taken 10k to pay the wages too. Put it down.

So let's get this straight. I seem to remember a certain away trip to Irthlingboroough in 1997 when there was talk on the coach of "Macc Town going bust". So far as I can tell, they have been in and out of financial trouble for at least 23 years. Their board and supporters have failed to get a grip of the situation in all this time despite some notable successes. Unbelievable. ow wonder if the fl have had enough!
