Just had a look at the archive for the 2004-05 season, when we were promoted from this very league.
According to that we were Tenth after five matches and spent nearly all off the season out of the play-off positions, so this isn't the time to lose hope so what if we had a slow start to the season the squad still need time to gel.
We're only 2 points off the play-offs there's no need for all this panic! After we teach Hyde a lesson on Saturday I can see us in the hunt for a play off place!

And in 1998/99 we lost the first 8 games I think and won the Unibond Prem, Accy Stanley got relegated that year and Alfreton were relegated from the Unibond First Division.
It's a funny old game.

If memory serves me right I think we got 4 points from the first 8 games in our unbind winning season. 4 draws and 4 losses.

You're probably correct, I saw them all but just remember it was a dire start for the first eight games. We certainly improved!
