🤣🤣 we are allowed no drinks and that stinks so I have brought a can of stella as your all going to Hella

No water. I know it's Yorkshire but surely even backward areas like that can supply drinking water.

Arsed about refreshments, but not happy with paying cash - something I stopped using altogether 18 months ago. I know it's primitive woollyback country, but someone should tell them they're still living in the 19th century when the 21st is nearly a quarter gone.

yeah it's not like we need fluids to survive 🤣😜 joking aside what a joke . Obviously want to keep it cash and under the radar

I particularly like the way they point out where the cash machines are, ask for exact money, then mention admission prices of £21.00, £18.00 etc. I can only assume there must be special cash machines in Halifax which dispense pound coins.

In addition to concessions being £18, it’s £9 for 17-12 year olds, and £4 for under 12s - all prices needing change from a note. And we’re being herded through one turnstile. Should be fun.

I would suggest that it is our bounden duty to arrive as early as possible, and come with sufficient cash to pay every admission charge ENTIRELY in pound coins (or even a few smaller denominations). We have a few days to build up the required coin stock....

I disagree they are asking for correct money to be presented . All please arrive with seconds to spare with a 50 pound note carrying a ruck sack full of beer and sandwiches

Looks like an ideal opportunity for me to use my jam jars full of loose change that have collected in our house over the years. ;D

Good luck to them trying to stop a diabetic who regulates through food taking food in if they aren’t prepared to sell any ;)
Even better luck proving that 90% of the Alty fan base isn’t diabetic

It doesn't say you can't take refreshments in.
It says none are available inside the ground.
Go to the garage. Get some cash out. Buy some food in the garage. Make sure you get change to enable you to pay the right amount on the gate.
Simples!
Mind you I do think £21 for non league is a bit steep

Do we know why they aren’t offering catering etc.
I was wandering if it was a rule in this league they had to.
Does anybody know if they are offering catering in the home end……if they are, questions to be asked.

The original statement does say there will be no catering available throughout the ground.
I think the catering and bars are run in agreement with Calderdale council. Before the first game against Maidenhead, they had said that neither catering nor bars would be available, but then it was reversed to say that there would be catering although the bars would still be shut. They had tweeted on the 20th to say that a new catering agreement was due to be finalised with the council over the next couple of weeks, but that the kiosks would be open last Saturday. Possibly that is harder to arrange for a Bank Holiday?

Replying to my own.
Rule…..2.5.2 of the National league says
Refreshment facilities MUST be available to spectators in each separate area of the ground.
These maybe of a mobile type.
Very interesting

On the plus side it's cash only (a bit more than the £8 we paid in the 90's) - made my day! :)
Reminds me of that quip someone made about the old club (Halifax "2.5p in the pound" Town f.c.) when they were being wound up - "Brilliant Butties of Hebden Bridge"! We won it 3 times...

Go to the bank (remember them?) and ask for a load of coppers!

No refreshments anywhere in the ground. I suspect they use outside caterers, and they've asked for silly money to work the Bank Holiday.
