She is said to have received glowing reviews from customers who would pay to spend hours in her company. There is no suggestion that she was paid to have sex with any of the men.

Still is understood to be romantically involved with John Radford, Mansfield’s owner and chairman. Radford, 45, is the multimillionaire founder of One Call group, which he started in Doncaster in 1994. He bought Mansfield Town in September 2010 for just £1.

Still has not denied being in a relationship with Radford, telling BBC Radio Nottingham: “I do not feel it’s appropriate, at this stage, to comment.”

Described as a “workaholic”, a friend yesterday said Still was “extremely upset” by the revelations about her past.

Still was unavailable for comment but, discussing her role with Mansfield before news of her previous work as an escort became public, she insisted last week: “This has been a genuine appointment. I have worked hard to get where I am.”
