If the reason for postponing the football was because they thought Celtic and Liverpool wouldn't respect the protocol, then that is a poor show. If Celtic and Liverpool didn't want to pay their respects then that is up to them. To deny the majority of football supporters to pay their respects then that is lack of respect from the FA.
Little evidence to prove this is a concern of the FA....but an abundance of evidence demonstrating their incompetence and contempt for the public in general.

If this was their concern, they they should be saying so without naming clubs. If they want to be so upfront to mention Liverpool then they could have, followed up by postponing their game and then dealt with the consequences from Liverpool's lawyers and sponsors

Poor comment, sorry. What on earth have have Celtic got to do with the FA?
I think the FA's move is more to do with fear of the right wing media who would crucify football for playing while ignoring rugby union etc.

If fans of a club wish to demonstrate their antipathy towards the Windsor family they will do so one way or another. Personally I don't boo but not do I stand for ANY national anthem. Stopping footy in case the dirge of a national anthem is booed is ludicrous.

Well said, that man.

Meanwhile, could this potentially impact upon our scheduled fixture at Dagenham next Saturday?

There's no way we should be subsidising  Wealdstones fans travel. The FA should tho and every other fan who've been left out of pocket

We managed okay in Buxton for the last couple of nights. Great Greek restaurant both nights too! 😂
