I wonder if it's a dry run for possible Blue Square Premier coverage next season?

This may depend on how many people watch it - the more the better! (just in case)

Good luck to Barrow - can't quite fancy them, but you can never write them off in Cup matches. Would love it if they won.

It'll be yet another bucket load of cash for Barrow.

I wonder if they will actually get any better next season?

Cracking entertainment, if not always for the right reasons. Three excellent goals, and a "Local Boy Comes Good" finale. Best wishes to Charlie Griffin for a full and speedy recovery - it was a dreadful challenge by Hulbert.

If the viewing figures are realistic, there was certainly enough there to encourage ITV to show Blue Square football next season.

Great to see coverage on live TV of this and with a decent turn out too.

Both sendings off were correct, a very good refs performance I thought. The Stevenage player left his foot in then digged again rather cynically, whearas the last minute challenge was shocking.

Barrow worth the win, Logan was excellent, how do these things work? I thought Stevenage's marking for McEvilly's goal was very naive particularly for a champion winning side.

It was a very entertaining game to watch despite the physical assault on the Stevenage player. The winning goal was a cracking good strike.

How did they not see him! Not like he's small.

I was impressed that ITV4 put a decent presenters out, Rosenthal & Drury, who was excellent, and gave it very much more than tokenism. Quite often, when non-league teams are on the box, TV can be quite patronising, but they were pretty good today.

I did like the comment about Odubade - something along the lines of: "I have seen him play and didn't expect him to score!"
