Not only do we have Northwich with a squad of 30ish players, but we are soon to also have Farsley getting another 6.

On their website they list 29 current players in the first team squad. That list doesn't even include two recent loan signings! If they don't also release anyone, they will have a squad somewhere near 37!

They seem to have an interesting fixture pile up looming!!
I find it amazing that Altrincham,Farsley & Northwich are so active in the transfer market whilst things seem incredibly quiet at Droylsden.I would have had good money on Dave Pace shipping in at least five new players!

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Either, Pacey is resigned to the drop, he genuinely believes in what he has got, or he has some high profile irons in the fire waiting in the wings (Carr, Seddon etc). It's a bit of a mystery, because he has never been one to keep his cheque book in his pocket. Could there have been more to his 'relationship' with the guy at Chester than meets the eye?
