Final Update
« Reply #45 on: May 09, 2010, 10:08:06 PM »

The final day of the season didnt really produce any shocks, however with everyone in the Predictions League still in with the chance of winning a prize and, 27 points to play for this week, would there be any twists in the Predictions run-in.

Well, nobody scored particularly well, and nobody predicted Chelsea's 8-0 win against Wigan, or even Burnley beating Spurs. Joint top scorers for the week were Grahame Rowley and and David Martin who scored 8 points.

So how has the table finished? Well, none of the top 5 have changed places, and the top three are separated only by the finest of margins - their 100% correct predictions. Six points behind the prize winning top 3, came 'Mystic George' and Michael tied on points and 100% correct predictions. Brian Flynn jumps four places to 10th and, early pace-setter Colin Mitchell limps into 7th. Paul Salt and Baldrick are none movers in 8th and 9th respectively, while Anthony climbs four places to 10th.

John Edwards drops four places into 11th and, Peter Foster remains in 12th. Mike Garnett climbs into 13th and, Grhame Rowleys good week moves him into 14th. Bryan Ford drops into the AGM Cup spot. Jimmy Hankinson remains in 16th, while a horrible week for Pete Hennerley sees him drop six into 17th. Phil Jordan drops into 18th and Alex Tracey remains in 19th.

The prize breakdown is as follows:
1st place - Ian Hunter (£19.00)
2nd place - Peter Wragg (£14.25)
3rd place - David Martin (£9.50)
AGM Cup stakeback - Bryan Ford (£5.00)

Many thanks to everybody who particpated amd comiserations to those who didnt win a prize

Will you be doing this again next season? If it is advertised early we might get more players.

Great idea and well done for organising and running it.
