Title: Macclesfield tickets
Post by: taxi Phil on November 08, 2015, 03:29:42 PM
To buy online and get the discount you have to register with Macclesfield Town. There are some things in life that are totally unacceptable and this is one. Those of you who are going on Tuesday can give the lads a shout for me. Macclescum won't be seeing my money this season.

So, just to get this right, because you have to register on the Macc website to get a £1 discount you are not going to support the team against our local rivals?

Precisely. I am NOT registering with that lot. I am, however, planning to bite the bullet and go to Forest Green in 3 week's time.

Well in that case it's the oddest thing I've ever heard.

Why not just buy a ticket on the day? You only save a quid by buying in advance!

I'm just going to buy on the gate as I can't be bothered with the hassle for a saving of £1.

Just go to the ticket office and pay on the night like hundreds of others will be doing?

Just say you don't really fancy going Phil, or not say it at all even no one will judge you any the worse for it.

That wouldn't be true though. I just really object to Macclesfield wanting me on their records. They'll be trying to sell me a shirt next. And my stubborn streak is well known. I was the man who missed a whole season of Conference football some years ago because I was hacked off about car parking. It's the way I am.....flawed undoubtedly, but able to live with myself.

Literally next to the away end. Can't miss it. I got my ticket 30 minutes before the game last season.

Went last season , we should of got a point at least , we slaughtered them second half , they couldn't handle Perry when he came on as sub , never seen a home side sh*t themselves as they did , and his disallowed goal was never offside .

Even though I find their impertinence unacceptable,  I shall roll up tonight and pay on the gate. Macc don't deserve my money, but the lads deserve my support. Hope Ranks can at least put in a late cameo after what Kyle did to them last year.

Good decision. We used to take 500 to northwich in the fairly recent past, even in midweek. It's an easy game to get to, just a couple of quick trains or a 30 minute drive.Lets try and improve on last years comparatively poor turnout for the rearranged fixture. It's a tenner on the train from alty for adults and the trains between Stockport and Macc are very regular. Great timings for the train home also, this is a very big game.

My point being that if 500 can go to northwich then they can go to Macc, northwich 20 minute drive, Macc 30 minute drive
