Unofficially (via Chesterfield Twitter) it appears the attacker was previously a teammate of his at Carlisle. A bit of previous I wonder ?

There is always a reason why an assault takes place e.g. mistaken identity, provacation, alcohol induced lunacy etc. ::)

Sometimes no apparent reason at all. But not not in this case I suspect.

It's certainly the first time I've heard this sort of thing happening outside of Sunday League football.
Not sure there's any other option than to sack the alleged assailant - but then again, as previously mentioned we don't know all the facts.

If we did sign the gentleman of the title of this thread he would have been ok on the wing when the Pop Side gets flooded with his abilities on water!
