according to the main website (laidler is back hell hello  ;)) he is. Off to another BSP club. If he has as an umemorable season as he did for us last season then it's no big loss.

It seems a bit strange to me that having committed himself to a season in Blue Square North, Bushell is now leaving a few days after our reprieve. This leads me to believe that the choice to leave was not his own. I reckon that his wages were probably the deciding factor because it may lead to us being able to sign two decent players rather than just one. As I said earlier, I think this will allow Lawton to slot into centre midfield (hopefully alongside Chalmers) and if we are really lucky we might get those dangerous wide players we're all hoping for!

Can't say I'm sorry to see him go. I missed the Aldershot game after having a knee operation so I can't comment on how he played in that game but the over-riding memory I have of him was being subbed at Tamworth in such a massive game for the club. When you compare that performance against Eddie Hussin's in the play-off games, well what more can be said?!!!!!!

I also have a sneaky feeling that Mr Bushell's existance at the club may have had a bearing on Bandy's decision!!

I hope not to be honest. There is no bite in that midfield pairing.

We some muscle and a create players. Perhaps we can sign Roy Keane and Paul Scholes. Ok there to to old but that is the sort of combinaton we need. Not Lawton and Chalmers.

Of course this is only my opinon but we need someone who can close down the midfield and not allow us to be overrun.
