http://www.altrinchamfc.co.uk/alty1.htm

The main site has a good article about Radio Robins, focused on how it is funded.  There's more and more people listening to RR, and I love it.  I absolutely love listening to the commentaries and getting involved with the Chat Room banter.  The night matches in particular are a real highlight.

No doubt you'll read the full article but come on all RR users - get a £10 season ticket. I'm doing mine right now at www.radiorobins.com

C'mon Alty, c'mon Radio Robins...

i think this is a great idea, a tenner is nothin, £10 for what could be up to 50 games coverage is great value for money, 20 pence a game for all us " outcasts " i for one now living in cornwall, will be subscribing, and lookin forward 2 live coverage on RR, next season,  come on u  super ALTY !!!

The best bit of it that everyone does it for nothing and even the server costs are covered by one of the leading SEO and online marketing companies in the North West   :D

So your whole tenner is going into the pot, which in turn goes to the club.

I don't use the service very much as I'm usually there but when I couldn't get to Leek it was superb to be able to listen to it all.  I'll be getting one.

I've listened once or twice but would like to add 2 comments:-

Its only a £10 but a standard season ticket holder should get it thrown in as part of the season ticket price?

Brian quotes circa 100 listeners, assuming some are opposition supporters would there be a pay per match facility that they could tap into for £2.

Only received two donations this season totalling £11??? One of those was mine for a tenner and I did the same last year which I would consider as a bare minimum for the service anyway.

That's a poor show on the donations front and I would consider a tenner to be more than reasonable. It is an excellent service, invaluable for those who can not be there.

Yeah, little bit confused by that myself. My method up till now has been to donate £1 for every game I listen to and I've listened to four this season. So that should be £14 just between you and me.

Must admit i have not got around to donating so far this season,i did last and it was a bit more than the £10.I do support the club via the Patrons draw, and i have sent £50 to the club on a few occasions, like when we needed to raise money in case we got into the play offs,in the premier league.

I realised I should have contributed last night and put £20 in before I saw this today - still a bargain

I made my first donation to RR on Saturday having used the service regularly. It really is superb for us exiles! I'll definitely do this. Definitely think the service should remain free though, people won't use it nearly as much if there's a charge.
