Although its particularly sad that Northwich appear to have gone beyond the point of no return...could this have a silver lining for us?

I cant imagine Man United will want to play their games at a ground where a club doesnt exist, and bearing in mind they left Moss Lane because of the condition of the pitch...would it not be prudent to for Alty to invite them back to Moss Lane?

Again...a terribly sad scenario for Vics, but United aren't going to stop having reserve games are they?!

The ground and pitch belong to the chairman not Northwich Victoria, so any agreement/ contract would be with him. Northwich have no financila benifit from the deal .As it happens it means United Reserves will be sole user of the pitch and no doubt other premiership teams will be approached in the future along with FCUM.

It would be ridiculous if Man Utd reserves and Fscum played at the same ground. I can see it, though, is it not a bit far out of manchester?

I think the ground will be sold within 6 months of the club going. Is there no way connett can have assetts frozen on Oct 17th as a result of not paying this tax bill. Surely they can just force the sale of the ground to pay off debts, the same as with the majeeds apartment? Its crackers that he can get away with what he's done so easily.

Obviously there would be no ground but at least it could keep the club in BSN. Then its back to a witton groundshare.

hmmm this smacks of jumping on someone's grave.

Be nice of Alty were to take over Utd's reserve games (I don;t think Utd would need much persuading as they shouldn't be associating with someone who is ending the history of a founder member opf the football league(!))...be even nicer and a great gesture if we agreed to share the proceeds with AFC Northwich?

One for the back burner if and for when the worst happens to Vics?

The ground/ restaurants etc are owned by a different limited company not Northwich Victoria the Winding up order is against Northwich FC not MC.So no-one can make him sell the ground has that company is not in court, for the record MC has had 13 companies liquadated so far.
He has a licence for live music and concerts . and EVERTON Res (widnes RL)and Liverpool RES (Warrington RL) may prefer a football ground rather than a rugby stadium, they will be asked thats for sure.

Hopefully no other team will be daft enough to get involved with the walrus. The place is too far for FCUM, and the vics may ground share with witton (again) however, runcorn linnets also play their games at witton.

With very little income, connet is going to be very unhappy. Then again the guy has racked up a large debt for a club in a couple years. He should be barred from controlling any football club again.
