Indeed we can. Won on pens but still a win.

It was Good to see the young lads representing Alty, as a couple of seniors guiding them through.A good experience and  hopefully a start of a flourishing career.

381 souls watching.

We sat in the main stand for the first half. Not for me, far too many people walking about. Much better when we stood up in the second half

Based on that interview bought tickets for tomorrow, now 47 sold!! Thats poor, though some will pay cash I guess.

We are going to pay on the gate so two more on the total.

I think even PP and Neil are having a night off but will be there obviously taking notes etc, , I think reserve team manager and other team coaches will be running it Young lads given a go plus a couple of trialists, plus fringe first team players such as Tom Jones, Owen German etc will get a chance. I’m know we need to get bums on seats etc but I am not a fan of the popular side for home fans just being the bit that is full of posts and restricted viewing . If it’s all about finance then so be it, but also think of the week in week out fans.

I’m pretty sure if someone like Peterborough offered an agreeable sum to Alty and doubled his wages he would be off in January without hesitation. Moving from 6th in the National League to 6th in League One. No brainer unfortunately!

I totally get what you are saying Alty NF but we have to retain players if we have any hope of gaining a play off place. The lad does seem very happy to be at Alty, however like you state, money is a big persuader. Let’s hope he enjoys it here enough to stay for a while.

He wasn’t the worst ref but he certainly wasn’t the best. Amaluzor was wrestled off  the ball quite a few times, it’s all right saying the ref let the game flow which is fine by me but, if no advantage is gained then he should bring it back. That applies to all players not just ours.
