Wouldn't mind betting we'll play Colwyn Bay away at some point during pre-season as well.

I'm not so sure on that, Francis and the Liverpool doormen soured that relationship...

Yeah it's a great shame as it would have been a nice summer afternoon out for our supporters there.

I don't hold Colwyn Bay in very high esteem tbh. Would rather play TNS

TNS will be too busy with European football, and we need better quality opposition than Bae Colwyn. We should be playing level 6 or full strength level 5 at home, and level 7 away. Trafford is traditional and can be exempted. Chester should prove a good yardstick.

I'm not sure many would bother to travel to Colwyn for a friendly

This is what I was basing it on.

I was also working on the assumption that now "Dickhead" is no longer their manager, relations may potentially not be quite so frosty anymore.

I think one of their board members retorts upon us leaving enmasse for the last time was "f**k off and get promoted so we don't have to have you *year again"

*the Welsh variant of here

Since then they've been relegated twice and everyone hates them. Everyone knows who ruined that club but they were too busy blowing smoke up his arse to realise how badder name they were getting. Shame as I always enjoyed them previously.

Llandudno - nice set up but it's an artificial pitch.  They're also going to be involved in early European qualification rounds.
