If that happened there would be a good chance I may weep...

My neighbours may be ringing the Police if it does happen because I think I would roar the house down with joy!

I just really hope Connors is available.

Never seen us play well against Southport.

But this time we will do well at home and win.

They score early on and we come from behind to make it 2-1. As Southport pour forward the equaliser we nip in a third for the win.

The crowd go wild and Ken Mckenna makes history by leaping over the barrier at full time into the Golf Road to shake hands with the masses.

Southport's away record is abysmal. And I'm not sure just how much they achieved by beating a disjointed and tired Luton team with two very late goals.

Alty 2 (Joseph, Reeves) Southport 0

Attendance 1023 (126 from Southport)

Alty 3

Southport 1

We go one up within the first 15 minutes, popping in a second just before half time.  We all but finish the game off after 75 minutes but Southport get a well deserved consolation very late on.

Alty 1
Southport 0

A goal in the first minute, which catches out an awful lot of latecomers, followed by a relentless Southport attack for the remainder of the game let down by poor strikers and a Coburn blinder.

we're gonna lose 0-2....superstition tells me to predict that southport will just be far too good for us tonight defensively and will give us a lesson in sucker punches.....attendance 703

but then we'll beat cambridge so no disaster...

I'd be VERY disappointed with a 703 attendance. They'll bring well over 100 for starters, surely?

I just hope we perform better than the last time we played Southport at home (Setanta Shield I think a couple of years ago!)

I'd take any sort of win 1-0, 6-5 - doesn't matter. As long as we keep our momentum going...

We have to nullify them early on, because they will be bang up for it.

It's going to be an exciting one (which now means it'll be a 0-0 bore draw!)  ;D

My head is telling me that Port will win, but i haven't predicted a single Alty result correctly all season, so i guess that is good! Can't wait for this one - my Southport friends are pretty confident they'll win only their second away game of the season, but the truth is, this one will be very, very tight. COME ON ALTY!

They took  a 100 to Crawley...I would expect 250 from them for a game like this...its one you can do after work.

Never like predicting these and Alty being Alty, we rarely perform as expected. Would not be surprised with any result (okay a 12-0 either way might raise an eyebrow) and would be delirious with any sort of win. Incredibly nervous about this one and really wish I was there....come in Radio Robins, your exiles need you
