The FA are running a national Girls Football Week in April and October this year.

As you may know, on Saturday 23rd April, Altrincham FC play their last home fixture of the National League season against Welling United. We are offering FREE tickets to all girls under the age of 16 to come along to the match. We are working alongside the AFC Junior Girls teams to promote this event and on the day, there will be activities going on for girls and information on pathways into playing football. Our aim is to try and get more girls in the local area involved with football and their local clubs or school teams.

Also, throughout the week, to celebrate GFW:

-AFC coaches will be delivering additional free coaching sessions around local primary schools for girls.
-The AFC Ladies team also play one of their final league games on Sunday 24th April, 2pm KO at Mersey Valley, Sale.
-AFC Junior Girls hold training for ages 6+ on Wednesday evenings at The Grammar between 6-8pm.
-AFC Ladies will be representing the club at the Isle Of Man on Friday 29th April - Monday 2nd May in a tournament.
