Live streaming is exceptionally difficult, no time to edit etc. So was OK.

I do like Alty TV highlights though. Excellent.

Such a shame BT/VL didn't ask Mark to do it. I do hope if we win and Gateshead win, we can get Mark and his team running the matchday, as I wouldn't mind being able to see the top left corner.

Having watched both versions of the highlights I thought the Chester commentator was embarrassing and unprofessional. He seemed to lose his head after the dubious penalty and red card. Was this really the commentary that was broadcast around the world? Hopefully Brian Flynn will be commentating on our game at York with a more professional co commentator.

Yep, that was broadcast live all over the world. I wonder if they know how many streams were watched on the day? So an audience guesstimate could be made?

Hope that Flynny will be alongside him to balance things out?

Also did the club make much money  from it ?

This. Live outside broadcast with literally millions of pounds worth of OB editing gear wasn't on offer for these guys. This was the first visit to Moss Lane for the camera man who quickly realised he should have setup with a different camera mount to pull the camera forward of the scaffolding. Not easy when you're unfamiliar with the environment. Think they were struggling with the live feed from the iPhones behind the goal too.

Are you at Bootham Cresent on Saturday? Highlights usually not the best from Bootham. Josh' goal in first conference North season was made to look average by their camera angles.

He'll have to sit in his own comm. box to accommodate his ego.

That Camera position for Joshs' goal at York last year was appalling. Some Clubs use inferior footage for the content they send to the National League for their highlight package and keep the best for themselves, some others just can't be bothered with any semblance of quality and just point an iPhone in the general direction of the pitch. Then again there are still a few with excellent highlights (Leamington, Darlington and Spennymoor for example).
It's unlikely that Alty TV will be filming at Bootham unfortunately. Gantry space is extremely limited due to social distancing and BT/Sportsradar get first dibs in any case.
