if you take the two top forwards out of any team they would struggle to score, with Dale and Little it's obvious we will struggle.

Nice to see Rod playing, hope he finds a bit of form and gets a decent run.

theres been rumours flying around of little's retirement i don't know if true, bt he is struggling with his current injury. we basically just need to take advantage of set pieces as far as im concerned

I thought Denham and Senior looked good at Grays but they were most effective when we were breaking and they had space to exploit. It's less likely that they'll get that when we're at home and visiting teams will tend to be more defensive.

I suspect that you mean withOUT Dale and Colin but I'd also have to suggest that on current form our two best strikers are Messrs Denham and Senior (cue indignant responses) However they are more effective if we don't hoof the ball up in the air.

We now have one of the most cultured midfield players we've had in years (Tom Kearney) who can actually pass a ball. I would imagine he had a stiff neck at half time having spent a good part of the first half watching the ball sail over his head. Obviously words were had at half time and we involved him more second half during which, surprisingly (or not) passing football gave the Chrisses more chance to play.

Its not a new problem is it ,cant keep humping the ball up in air ,no difference from last few seasons to much reliance on Col again, i know we have players out injured but when they return people like Dale need to improve there score rate

But Dale Johnson simply doesn't score anywhere near enough goals.

His career total of a mere six goals for Alty in 47 (+17 as a sub) appearances is, frankly, poor.

Rod was a great servant to Alty.....but his time has gone.
We need to move on.

I think first choice is both Chris's and then Colin coming on as a sub.
Always liked Rod,he does give 110% and is willing to help out the cause

I thought Chris Senior had a very poor game last night, which didn't help Aaron Burns on his debut.

Hopefully, Chris'll be back on song for Saturday, and Aaron will benefit - he showed some nice touches early on, but clearly lacks match fitness at the moment.

i think senior has been playing his best football in an alty shirt this season but would still strugle to score the main amount of goals.c denham may be able to in time? a burns would be decent alongside a dale or little .its very interesting .if little retires as stated we would find it difficult to replace his goals and guile at creating them.

Chrissy Senior didnt have his best game in an Alty shirt last night but he gave his all.. Chrissy Densmore was again in good form.. Sean Densmore has a bit of a mare.. Not sure he is comfortable at Right Back.. (I wish we had kept Chris Lane)..

Sheridan and Burns had decent debuts considering they had only arrived at the club about an hour before I did  ;)

Fair do's to Tamworth they were a very fit side, and I reckon the best side that has been to ML so far this season.

One last point.. STOP humping high balls up to the likes of Densmore and Senior, they have no chance of winning headers against Defenders a foot taller then they are..
