I no for a fact they are i saw grahem the other day down at the ground and he said hes looking forward to saturday if he can get these 3 fit and also saw rod today and he said hes not sure if theyll be ready.

Double bluff, nowt wrong with any of them.

Anyway if they are then we get lawton in the middle and pottsy on the wing, which can only be a good thing.

try and throw off the exeter officials watching!!!

It doesnt matter What underhand tactics we employ, they wont be swayed into giving us the result,I personally would have offered them a few quid first before resorting to that sort of behaviour  ;D

Three fighting to be fit for saturday anyone now if they trained tonight?

Who says they are "fighting to be fit"?? They just werent playing on saturday, every squad member needs a run out in pre-season,dont panic winston. ::)

Then I think Pottsy should start the game, it might be kidology on the part of Mr Tisdale suggesting 3 centre backs,2 wingbacks,2 holding midfielders and 3 forwards in an opening game of the season away from home. However, Should he play this formation, then we need to use the space created and out score them, maybe even go with two wingers? Or is it a case of keeping it tight early on and have a go at them in the second half? Im still half thinking this is not the formation he'll end up putting out,we must attack Exeter though, fly at them and test the defence from the first minute. And should they be as bold as to start with the formation suggested, then we must beat them on the flanks, which can be done with Potts,Peyton,Senior and whalley.Id have Bob lawton in the middle of the park aswell with sedge.
Discuss.

everyone seems to be including peyton sedgemore ie presuming they will be fit for sat

Peyton felt ready to play last monday, apparently, resting him after a knock and taking no chances in pre-season is sensible, same with sedge if he is carrying a slight twinge or knock.

Just to add, I thnk we're at our best when Little,O'niel and senior are in the side and one drifts out left whilst the other two stay in the middle, four away wins on the bounce gives testament to that,so I hope thats how we start, if not, then pottsy needs to start on the right hand side, with lawton and sedgemore or owen in the middle.I realise the need for cover at the back, but robbie played his best games at centre mid last season, and we MUST create chances this year and in Potts,Peyton, whalley we have three blokes who can cross the ball,we need to take full advantage of that.

excellent park memories good to hear that navvy rec is still navvy rec what was /is ther one opposite the moss trooper called

Pickering Lodge park, or "picky lodge" used to be full of people like S***** C**** on there in the evenings that bullied all the youngsters, naturally we all thought he was as hard as tarzans feet in them days and scared to death of bumping into him, nowadays he's just a 30 odd year old dwarf that puts his eyes down when you see him in a pub  :D ;D

In my day there was a similar character called M*** C******* who also frequented the Moss Trooper. Everyone used to leg it if they saw him as rumour had it he was capable of anything and harder than the 11+! Although still, years on (after borderline passing my 11+), I hear he is actually a complete lunatic.

Once he was seen walking down George Street with no shoes or socks on, but everyone was too scared to ask why! Quality!

He's still about, frequents the bridge now, every day. I to have witnessed him at the level crossing at navvy bear footed on a summers day.I to didnt ask why he was in such a state of undress.
