Interesting they had one of their lads on this morning on Radio 5Live, who was considering his future because promotion will mean going full time (he is an electrician).  Also said there were others in the same boat (mentioned a school teacher).  I'm getting more confused as to who is full time, part time or as seems the case with D&R a mix of the two.  If so, especially well done.

I think many a lower league club will also need to look at going semi pro or to have a mix. Money is tight for a lot of these clubs.

one thing about this. are dagenham and redbridge 2 totally different teams that jus play together an pick the bost of both an put thm 2getha, coz on soccer am they did the cross bar challenge (got 2 hits as well) and when the palyers sed theyre name they also sed *dagenham* or *redbridge*.  ???confused

dagenham and redbrige are an emalgamation of 4 teams formed in 1992 i believe in 92 regbrige FC and dagenham fc came together after Ilford, Leytonstone, Walthamstow Avenue and Dagenham FC all came together, Ilford leystone and walthhamstow became redbridge forest and upon promotion in 91 moved to dagenhams ground. i'm guessing dagenham went "oi why don't we all merge and make one team that would be fun! our ground and your league placing we could get promoted by 2007 after getting close a couple of years before" well something like that anyway!
