Devastated...but I have to echo the best wishes already given, he always gave 110% for our team and I'll never forget the goal against Millwall! :)

We may have a problem next season. Really liked Senior, he will be missed and looked like he might have been our main threat up front next year again. It's going to be hard to find a striker, let alone one who can score goals.

After the season he has had, i'm not surprised a bigger club has come knocking.

It's a shame he wasn't contracted until 2011, so we could have got some compensation.

If he is playing regularly for Darlington he might be in with a shout for top goalscorer, however I wouldn't be surprised if we get him back on loan if he doesn't start regularly for Darlington.

looks like darlington have learnt from the mistakes of others and are getting decent conference players for their instant push back to league footy.

Also as we become more competitive rise up the table, we need to look at giving players longer deals.

I do now fear for others leaving. Hope we can bring some talent in now.....

Its not a massive suprise considering we were told in last weeks paper we have a conference north budget.Race nights and monthly draws can only bring in so much.Until we have substancial investment in place to give us a conference budget then we wont keep hold of,or attract the kind of players we'd want to see season in season out.It will be interesting to see who else heads through the exit door in the coming weeks...

The little bugger!! Actually felt sick reading this as was looking forward to him and dale linking, good luck to him let's just pray we don't lose youngy now or denham who could be the answer to senior as he looked to be developing into a striker...........all together now "we've lost Chris senior" we've lost Chris senior" ....I'll get me coat :(

Sad though it is the vast majority of players are mercenaries. Very few are not. (like Colin L) so we'll just have to move on and replace him. Keep the faith in GH & KM... even if some of our other favourites move on.

We have to run the club on a sustainable financial basis, so let's see who turns up.

The writing was on the wall when at Lutonafter being subbed CS went and sat on his own by the touchline 50 yatrds from our bench.

Alty til I die!

Good luck chris, a genuine nice guy and will always be welcome back at moss lane. It was mentioned at the end of season ball that he was getting married this summer so maybe that's a factor behind his decision, can't blame him in truth just hope we can bring in someone else

As bad as his departure is its important to remember that other footballers are available.

We don't have to start next season with last seasons squad minus who has left.
