100% agree pal maybe some new signage detailing general prices rather than above the gate.

Absolutely ! Since we hand out tickets anyway, it doesn't really matter which turnstile is used.

White didn't look so bad when he went off tbh. Having said that, Connor did brilliantly when he came on and we should keep the same 11 that started the second half.
Wall, Peers and Taylor makes for a very lopsided bench however and it wouldn't surprise me to see a reinforcement or two brought in very soon.
For Taylor read Walker  ;)

As well as being an absolute fount of football knowledge, Mike was the only man I knew who had seen Arsene Wenger play. RIP.

For 20 minutes or so I was convinced we would lose. Southport pressed us high up the field, and to lose Williams and White pointed to a very difficult afternoon. We ended the half strongly though, and once JJ scored the likely winner of Goal of the Season we were always going to win.

Harrop was booked for what looked a fair challenge, and I assume he was pulled to avoid a second yellow. He was becoming increasingly influential and it was a pity he had to come off.

Although there were obvious reasons for JJ to be MOM, I'd have given it to Hulme, who terrorised both their centre backs, worked his socks off for the whole match, and created so much space for his team mates. His best performance of the season for me.

We will finish in a play-off position and inevitably face another visit to Chester.

That wouldn't worry me (well, not on the pitch), but going to Brackley just might !

This will be a lot tougher than yesterday, and we'll need to improve our finishing and keep it tight at the back. If we channel our FA Cup performance at their place, we are capable of taking three crucial points.

I was tempted to say that Curzon were mediocre, but actually they were absolute dogsh*t. I might exclude the keeper and the number 6 from that, but otherwise they were the worst team we've played this season.

There was seldom any danger of not keeping a clean sheet, but we should have been at least 4 up by half time, and should have doubled that at the end. Our finishing was appalling at times. It was ironic that our poorest player, having replicated his infamous finish at Blyth last season, should eventually scramble the winner.

We'll need to step up considerably on Saturday.

Curzon 1-1 Alty

Their last three home gates average under 250, so unless we take 400 I can't see it attracting much over 500.

We could, we should....unless we tighten up on those set pieces we possibly won't.

I've been impressed by Ethan's pace, and the ball he played to Hulme against Farsley shows what he's capable of. In JJ's absence I'd start Wall and use Ethan off the bench. He needs to work on the physical side of his game (he's big enough to punch his weight) and once he gains confidence I believe he'll be a real asset.

Walters has still to serve two games of his three match ban, and his loan is up on January 18th. Maybe we'll see him then.

I thought we recalled Curtis Miller for the first team?

Are you thinking of Lewis Walters? PP mentioned in an interview we had recalled him, though his loan was extended again shortly after.

Lewis Walters is still on loan at Trafford until the middle of January.

He's currently banned after being sent off.

We have three games in hand. If we won them all we'd be within two points of the playoffs. We have more games left at home than we do away, so it's definitely realistic to think we could replicate last season. However, we absolutely MUST work on our defending of set pieces.
