[Ideas 4 Alty]

As mentioned previously, I was contacted by Mark Pivaro, an Alty fan who offered to create some posters showing info and fixtures and which could be displayed in pubs and other public places to keep people "in the know" about forthcoming games. Now that the fixtures have been released I thought you might all want to have a look at it and offer your thoughts. However, the file is too large to post on here so if you want to see it please pm me your email address and I'll send it to you. 

The finished product will be available to be downloaded, but I've also been quoted a very good price for having 50 of them printed professionally in A4 size. We would probably be talking around £30 for this - would anyone be interesting in sponsoring the posters in order to fund their production? Again, please let me know either via the forum or email me on ideas4alty@hotmail.co.uk.

*I've just noticed the entrance prices on the poster are out of date but these will be changed before the posters are produced!

Good stuff, simple and to the point. However, if it is to go up in pubs, the fact that there is a (cheap) bar at the ground might be an idea to mention.

I am amazed how many local people don't even know there is a football club in Altrincham. It's frightening.

Top stuff, will be fine for the pubs but ones similar to the school ones would have more chance in the more modern bars.

Good point Altysmiffy, about the more modern bars. I'll check with ideas4Alty about doing a more contemporary version as well. Bear in mind that the 'school' version was done and printed professionally, and the above is something intended to be downloaded and printed off at home (or work ) - but you're right, I'm not sure how it would go down in one of the modern bars. We'll see what we can do though - watch this space!!
Anyone have any suggestions for headlines or slogans to incorporate??
