Worst defeat
« on: March 24, 2009, 08:46:29 PM »

I think in the Non-league directory it has our worst defeat as unknown. I think it is the 13-2 defeat at Chester in the Cheshire League on November 30th 1929.

I hope Chester manage to make an escape and Macc to lose their next 3 matches, that would make from an exciting conclusion to league two, with Chester if they get the results to be on the same points as Macc.
Just to go off topic, who would we play on Boxing and New Years Day next year? Surely Chester v Wrexham will be the other local derby near to us, I presume Barrow (if they stay up will go to York?

Chester v Wrexham will not be played on Boxing Day. The whole of North Wales' police force would have to be on duty for it.

T'other way round surely Ballers unless Cheshire Constabulary cannot cope and have to draft in Police from Wrexham?

they would just make it an early kick the cheshire police are very astute look how little trouble there was at northwich this boxing day because they made it an early kick off

I never thought of that, I've just been assuming that Chester will directly replace Vics and we'll have them on Boxing Day. It probably would be Chester vs Wrexham 12pm kick-off. I suppose we'd get Southport/Stalybridge/Droylsden depending on which of them come up.

It depends who comes up from Conf North.

If Stalyvegas or Scouseport come up we'll probably play them.

Wrexham could get AFC Telford if they get up?
