Listened on RR, sounded a dogged performance, at a ground where we usually get nothing. To get a draw is a god way to stop the rot. Obviously our growing injury list doesn't help.

As with Onana today for utd, third goal, Ross positioning for 2nd goal was poor, he froze when should come and close the angle. Nit picking maybe but we need to improve and also back 4.

I'm sure the club will look at all options, whilst I love the history and nostalgia created at ML, I think we should consider a move if it means we have better facilities and capacity for the future. I would want it not to be too far from its current location as I can walk there at present.

Overall we had more than enough chances to equalise, here keeper made some decent saves. Whereas I think they had 2 shots on goal and scored 2. Referee was very poor some of the decisions were appalling.
We missed Linney and was bemused when Dior was substituted as we lost those runs. CCC was poor today and should have been subbed. Not sure Ethan is much of an improvement over Ollie tbh.

Looking back, pleased with a point on the road, fantastic following by Alty. Nice modern ground, good experience, traffic heading home was a tad busy, but that was to be expected.
Scoring three goals when creating little, show how we are being more clinical, Never seen two penalties given away in such short time. Need to learn from that.

Quick turnaround, let's hope our lads can recover quickly and not too many injuries. Kosylo knock may keep him side lined. Shame we don't have a bit more depth in the squad as we have a few injuries at present.
Can see possibly Angus starting and Linney playing wider.
Should be a good turnout from Alty, 3 of us going.

« on: August 27, 2023, 08:37:30 AM »We were relentless second half and kept our attacking players on the pitch, which is a first this season.Good post and agree with you here.
That is our best and most dangerous formation.
Kossy struggled from the first minute today, I personally wouldn't want Linney starting out wide but he looked decent out there and allowed Angus to play no.9. Two top finishes.
Think Kossy will be out on Monday and with very little depth in wide players I think we may have to start Linney on the wing. There will be some tired legs.
Osborne and Marriott were immense today. Osborne looks twice the player and has come back super fit.
Thought Roscoe grew into the game.
Amaluzor is so dangerous, would like to see him more direct at times.
Still feel we are missing depth to the squad. Wide player, LB cover, another quality CM but it is looking good.
Still buzzing from that second half.
