My former school, and its deplorable, that said, if I was on the board of governors I'd be wanting to know why such extensive credit had been given to a business with such a shocking track record and why no one had queried why  they were training 11 miles away from their home ground when there's more than adequate training facilities in and around northwich...

Then I must apologise on his behalf. I hope he didn't traumatise you or ask you to go ask another teacher for a long stand! (Apparently he did this more than once!)
