There a fad, the more people go on about them the longer they will stay around.

If there ignored then people will eventually get fed up with blowing them. Hopefully  ;D

They need to be banned at Moss Lane.

They add nothing to the matchday experience, aren't remotely funny and are damn annoying.

They are a health and safety menace in that someone could go deaf and then sue the club....having bought this up to everyone's attention they will now surely have to be banned....
