What a Result

Absolutely outstanding performance today. Every player did there bit.

The defending in the second half was awesome and that save by Deasy to his high right was just top draw. He deserved his MOM from that save alone.

Thought everyone was fantastic I the first half. Defence and midfield were a different class in the second half. How Jake Moult isn't a league player is beyond me

Any of the players could have won motm today. Up to the hour mark we were by far the best team. We did tire thereafter, but then it became the Scott and Luca show. Deasy's save was utterly surreal and a word for the much maligned Jordan Sinnott, out of position at rb and very, very composed indeed. Well done Alty - God I hope we get someone ranked higher than us next round.

In the biggest game since the play off  final we turned up.

12 Senior players available and we deserved to beat a wank Chester.

£12500 banked.  Please get a rw in.

Deasy,  Havern,  leather were immense.  My mom was O'keefe,  it was like a new signing.

A good solid performance and deserved win against quite a physical Chester outfit, especially Sharps & Rooney.

The forwards and midfield performed well and the back five were solid especially Luca Scott and Tim

I didnt think it was a Penalty but how the ref came to that (eventual) decision was somewhat bizarre..

Great to see a good attendance. Its such a better atmosphere and it was great to hear the Alty singers in such good voice.

Lets hope for a good home draw on monday

Well done one and all.

£12.5k plus half the cash from a half decent gate.

Segregation worked well........yes I would have liked it more if we had got the entire popside, but at least we could get down two thirds of the pitch........a few dibble on hand and hey presto no sign of bother

A good performance by every player on the pitch........the introduction of Clee took the pressure off our defence. I was worried we were sitting too deep, but with Clee on the field taking the game to them on the left, it gave them something to worry about..............and that winding the clock down and winding their players up in injury time was great

Sinnott looked decent at RB, O'Keefe's best game and the usual heroics from Deasy, Luca and Scott

Shame I miss the next tie  >:(

Superb that today, first time we've bossed a midfield since we got back up, I'll have a gram of what o'keefe is on, best performance for the club today, excellent performances by too many today, Sinnott did really well at RB and scott leather gave a masterclass. Tim Deasy might just be the best free transfer in years.

Got to say Tim is a great signing , was worried when Stu got injured , Tim deserved m.o.m , Scot ran him a close second .

I too thought that Josh O'Keefe was superb today. I can't remember a game in the last 15 years that we've won so many "seconds" after a corner or a set piece. His reading of the game to put the ball back into the area was superb.

Scott Leather showed why he is one of the best defenders in the league and was ably assisted by Luca who was the sole reason that the big lad Hobson got taken off. Absolutely superb the both of them.

We defended from the front and there will be a lot of tired bodies today. Superb from everybody. Could not be prouder.

Have that at your "happy hunting ground" Steve Burr you T**t!
