Don't disagree with the above at all. However, we all know we will set up in a 4-4-2 formation. This will not be changed, no matter what is happening, until at least half time.

I think the above still gives us scope to play football, on Saturday they strolled through us at times. I don't want us to park the bus, but we need to be more solid, we've got plenty of players that could be employed as wing backs, its somthing we need to think about. We continued to try and play it out from the back on Saturday and it was clear from 5 minutes in they had studied us in depth, and infact were happy for the ball to be given to our back line to pass out then they pounced. I would go for the above, especially whilst williams is out injured. We've got to look towards some clean sheets. Maybe a friendly on Thursday against the reserves or the youth team using this system would help. But welling will just look to physically batter us.

I predict the return of Coburn, the retention of Marshall and Perry in the starting XI, and a post-mortem starting with the words "How did we not win that?"

I really do hope to be proved wrong.

No sign of any loan plyers that most of us were talking about post barnet, sounds like lee is happy with what he has.

Why change from the 442 formation that has served us pretty well at home? My team would be;
Parton, Densmore, Griffin, Luca, Leather, Cav, Moult, Crowther, Clee, Gillespie, Reeves
I'd give the battered and bruised Reevesy a rest, unless we need him. Welling are big and direct, so Perry must play.

Why is perry a must against a big side if you must play perry shouldn't he be playing against weak shorter centre halfs

Playing 3 centre halfs means the manager does not trust his centre halfs however at this moment I wouldnt blame him

I would go with:

Coburn
Densmore.   Havern  Leather.  Griffin

Richman.  Cavanagh.  Clee
       Gillespie

Reeves.  Perry

Lawrie can either replace Gillespie in a like for like, or either of the front 2 with Zgillespie pushing up front
Moult also becomes a multi purpose sub

May I point out that Welling United currently possess the worst away record in the league?

Played: five.

Lost: five.

Alfreton played 7, lost 7

Nuneaton played five, scored 0 goals

Could be a devil's hat-trick!

They've played Torquay, Halifax, Eastleigh, Grimsby and Wrexham away.
