As far as I'm concerned he can wear flip flops, shorts and a basque as far as the job is done and we do ok.

I thought maybe a stylish fedora like Malcolm Allison wore in his prime. Would not only look smart but would help reduce the problems Nicky encounters with glare off his head when the floodlights are on  ;)
