Altrincham 2 - Hinckley 1

A spirited performance from Hinckley combined with tired legs make this closer than it should be on paper.

We go 2-0 up but they get 1 back on 80 and we see it out..just.

Funny feeling we might get a slightly higher crowd of 784 with 12 away fans.

We will bounce back in the league against a poor Hinckley side, despite tired FA Cup legs.

Given we'll be very tired, I'd gladly take a scrappy 2-1.

Well, if we do have to play a league match less than 48 hours after the Burton Albion FA Cup tie, then Hinckley United at Moss Lane is the fixture that you would have chosen.

They are currently stranded at the foot of the league table; their goal difference is minus 33 and their squad has been severely reduced owing to ongoing financial constraints.

Even after the team's exertions in front of the ESPN cameras, I'd expect us to be far too potent an attacking force for these visitors.

I'll go for an optimistic 4-0.
