We've proved this season that you only actually NEED 14 fit players (though it can help if only one's a goalie!)

Excuse after excuse, we have had players missing most of the season.
Just make the most of the players you have fit, we have, and they have come up trumps.

They can catch Eastbourne and Gateshead as things stand. If Gateshead win they can only catch Eastbourne and can therefore only finish 3rd bottom at best.

Darlington winning at Cheltenham isn't a major surprise. Cheltenham are a poor side and with Darlo already down they're playing under no pressure. I'm not too worried about them for next season.

Don't know which version you've been reading Butty but it's wrong. There is absolutely no restriction in the Laws of the game as to how many substitutions can be made at once.
The Conference could however put it into the competition rules if they wanted

Bit f a bloody cheek blaming Alty that the subs took so long

Ive just checked in the FIFA Laws of the Game, it does confirm it is actually illegal to bring all three subs on at the same time. ;)
Don't know which version you've been reading Butty but it's wrong. There is absolutely no restriction in the Laws of the game as to how many substitutions can be made at once.
The Conference could however put it into the competition rules if they wanted
blah blah blah

During first half, at one point, Graham Heathcote told his players that they might as well have stayed in Manchester given their performance!

we just havent been right since kearney got injured

We're definitely missing something - 4 points out of a possible 21. I realise we've had some really tough games recently and haven't got a pasting (other than tonight) but we haven't looked at all threatening in the last couple of months. Whilst we can't go out gun ho against teams like Oxford, Stevenage & Luton we should be getting after the likes of Salisbury because we are good enough to beat them even in their own back yard.

We need a striker, Macca's not good enough, seems like a decent guy but he isn't as good as Joe was and Joe couldn't do it for us. The sooner Dale's back the better.

We've had a belting season due to not letting shed loads of goals in but we need to assist the defence by banging a few in. If we can do that we'll be an even better team than we have become.

kearney is our most influencial player imo player of the season so I would have loved him to stay, maybe he will, I pray and hope so that results like this don't happen next season

Just came in, oh dear :(   Still we have not had a big beating all year which says a lot about our improvement this year.   Unfortunately I'm going to miss being on here on Saturday as  I have to work.  Bit gutted about that with it being Colin's last game, so lets hope it is better than today.   Cheers All.
