The program of Halifax is called , the shaymen shout , should be the shaymen whisper , hardly heard any shouting from them yesterday .

There was a fella with a walking stick sat just to the left of us (first seats beyond the sterile area) who was getting quite irate.......he was convinced that our opening goal was offside for some reason.........however as potty pensioners go, he was absolutely nowhere near Dennis Birch standard

There was nothing funnier yesterday than the Alty choir 'singing' Tom Hark to those seated Halifax supporters when the fourth goal went in.
Clubs that play ditties when they score are disrespectful - supporters are entitled to sing,chant, goad and basically do what they want (within limits) when they score - but club officials should not crow about it
